Frankie's working on his pronouns. I always say, Do you want me to hold you?", so now he's started saying "hold you" when he wants to be picked up. Cutest.Thing.Ever.

Wawert. That's Frankie's word for water. Bite. Wawert. means he's thirsty. During dinner he asked me if he could go outside, "Outside, mommy?" Then "Outside, Daddy" when he got a "no" from us he asked, "Outside, Ira?" He's given himself a couple of time outs. He runs to his room and puts his hands on the wall. No idea what he did. He gave the pool toy crocodile a time out for hitting in the pool. He says 'self" all the time as he wants to do things on his own. He turns the pages when we read books (3 at naptime and 3 at bedtime.) We tried to put him for a nap at Jackson parents house. We tried for an hour and finally let him get up so he said, "good morning!" Ira's been smiling since four week, but he really ramped it up starting July 5th. He's staying awake for long stretched, like 5 hours. He sleeps for 6 hours straight and has since birth. (Not every night, but most.)
